s is for sex and the city

With all the hype going on about the Sex and The City 2 movie, I thought it would be the perfect chance to showcase the gorgeous styles of Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon, plus their alter-egos Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda, on screen and off screen. These four fabulous women are style icons in the world of fashion, and I love how their unique outfits reflect their outrageous personalities.

Sarah Jessica Parker is one amazing women. Mother of three and a newly appointed partnership with Halston Heritage, SJP lives one glamorous life. At the world premiere of SATC2, Sarah rocked this gorgeous yellow Valentino gown with silver pumps. I love her hair being a bit of a brighter blonde, and the flirty element of the dress is so fun, but still sophisticated. From the show, the most iconic, and my favourite, is the Halston Heritage white v-neck dress. It's so flattering, and classy, yet simple. Paired with gold Louboutins, it's Carrie Bradshaw at her finest.

Kristin Davis looks absolutely stunning on the red carpet premiere of SATC2 in London. In a Decades Inc. vintage dress, the cut is slimming and looks amazing against her chocolate brown waves. I'm in love with shimmer this season! In contrast, my favourite character Charlotte takes bold green to a new level. Does it not completely suit her outgoing, hopeless romantic personality? Although it's gotten mixed reviews, I love the Oscar de la Renta dress - the rosette detailing is perfection.

Kim Cattrall is an absolute goddess - I hope I look as good in my fifties! Kim dazzles in a Naeem Khan gown for the world premiere, and I am loving the matching red lipstick and nailpolish. She looks so polished and fit! Why shouldn't she show off those curves? In the SATC2 movie as Samantha, her and Miley Cyrus show up in the same Michael Williamson dress and Dolce Vita boots (gasp). But it's outrageous, and totally Samantha at the same time. P.S. I'm definitely liking her accessories better than Miley's.

And of course, Cynthia Nixon, with her fire red hair and porcelain skin. Pictured in a fabulous Narciso Rodriguez dark teal dress at the London premiere, her highlights and features completely pop. The colour looks gorgeous, I wish I could wear blue that well! And, playing the cynical but lovable Miranda on screen, she goes bold in a raspberry shift dress by RM Roland Mouret. Again, the colour is incredible; and, even though I'm partial to matching coloured shoes, they're definitely growing on me in this outfit.

I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet. Carrie Bradshaw
