lovely weekend inspiration

This just in: I actually read something in my textbook and applied it to my actual life. I'm still in a little bit of shock! I made a huge 'oopsie' this semester and bought - and read 4 chapters of - the wrong book for my health class. So, I've been playing catch-up this weekend, and I read a section on stress-reducers. One of them was so simple: have a clean, organized desk. I am usually an organized person at heart, or at least I try to be, but I have papers and books everywhere. So, I moved everything into my Mom's office in our den which she recently evacuated this year. I got myself a unit to file all of my assignments, and a cupboard to hold my textbooks and printed PDF files. And you know what? I feel so good. I feel like my mind is de-cluttered and I have this nice open (and quiet!) space to work. Plus it's right next to the kitchen so I can always sneak a quick cup of tea if I need it!

In celebration of my new-found office space, I thought I'd share a bit of what has inspired me this weekend, other than my health textbook. These blogs make me smile on a daily basis and it makes me just love being a part of the blogger community. Enjoy, and I hope you all have a cozy, lovely weekend!

  1. thanks for sharing! I love checking out new blogs, and yours is adorable!

  2. i totally agree - i love organising my life, in fun ways. My favourite is sorting out the accessories box. A few weeks ago I put all by necklaces, bangles, earrings, rings and bracelets in clear bags and filed them in a (couple of) pink shoe boxes. Now, I can just thumb through them and voila - no last minute flurry finding "the" necklace for day/night!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, am so sharing the appreciation of Uncle Karl :-)

    Have a great weekend
