that warm and fuzzy feeling

I've been absent from the blogging world not only because of my mini-vacation to Sunpeaks, but also because my little dog Chico had to be put to sleep on Thursday. I don't know if any of you have had to put down a pet that you loved more than the world, but it left a giant hole in my heart that I'm slowly mending. I'm trying to think happy thoughts and I know that he's in a better, peaceful place. I imagine that he's at a version of Cesar Millan's Dog Center, getting a little TLC and going on pack walks with other beautiful dogs. All of my family and friends have been so wonderful, so a big thank you to everyone for making me feel loved and supported. I thought about what Cheeks liked best, other than belly rubs, and it was always warm blankets or laying by the fire. So here's a post of cozy items that make me smile and remind me of his cute face. Rest in peace my little baby boy. This one's dedicated to you.

Cheekyface, love & miss you.

  13. Hi Chelle, I'm sorry to hear about Chico, he's adorable. I can completely understand and relate because I had to put my dog down this past weekend. It's one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, but I know he's in a better place now. So there's comfort in knowing that our dogs hopefully met and are friends up there, running around and chasing each other's tails and what-not haha. And I'm sure they miss us as much as we miss them. Keep your head up and with time, things will get better xo
