day eight: prima ballerina

Last year I cut my hair waaay short, so short that I never want to go short again. Even though I loved how easy it was, I've been in the process of growing my hair long and I'm absolutely loving it. The one huge plus to long hair? Wearing it in a bun, with no bobby-pinned pieces underneath! Such a good feeling. Today was absolutely gorgeous out; nice weather calls for me bringing out my inner ballerina and driving around with my sunroof open. I also happened to stumble upon my Health essay mark which was a big fat 100%! Rachelle: 1, School Pressure: 0. Unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy the beautiful day as much as I'd like because I'm busy catching up on my readings and writing notes for midterms in a couple of weeks. I hope you locals went outside to soak up some Vitamin D, and for everyone else, enjoy your Tuesday! & Thanks to my boyfriend for being such a good sport and taking these pictures for me.

  1. Love this outfit, Chelle... so classic and elegant with the black, white and red! The bun just adds to it... and I know what you mean. My hair was in a bob 3 years ago and I'm STILL growing it out to my desired length! Sheesh.

Congrats on your health essay mark! I don't believe I've ever gotten a perfect 100% on a paper. Very impressive :)

    Have a lovely day!

  3. Hahaha, we're in the same boat. I cut my hair into a pixie cut a year or so ago and I've been desperately trying to grow it back.
It sweeps my shoulders now, and I agree with you. I LOVE being able to just put it in a bun. So easy!

I love the outfit by the way. The skirt is just gorgeous. Very classy.

  5. Love the red lips, I forgot to put some red lipstick on today. I'm missing my long hair sooo much right now...It needed a good cut though so I don't regret it. You look beautiful!

  17. My favourite of the remix so far (which says a lot because I am still obsessed with your black blouse and cargo pocket skinnies look) This is just gorgeous though, I picture you wearing this out to a fancy event. Great styling xoxo
