young women in business

Last week I was honoured to be asked to present to the SFU non-profit organization called Young Women in Business (YWiB) all about how to 'Dress for Success.' I was armed with sample items, my trusty workbook, and powerpoint slides where I created three different business attire outfits. I answered some of the most asked fashion questions... what business formal and business casual really means, and how you can add personality to your outfit while still being workplace appropriate! I haven't spoken in public in quite a while and I forgot how great it feels to talk and share my passions with others. Although the nerves got to me in the beginning, with such a friendly and stylish crowd I instantly felt at ease. A huge thank you to Nicole Braam for inviting me, and all of the YWiB team for being so supportive! Be sure to visit their website and Facebook page.
