whistler bound

THE OTHER WEEK the boy and I decided to drive up to Whistler for a weekend getaway. Full of mountain biking (for him) and shopping (for me), it was so nice to have a little R&R in the beautiful resort town. Between morning runs, coffee breaks, delicious sushi, and plenty of cold bevy's, I was a very happy girl. It was also refreshing to keep my outfits easy, casual, and cute - not a lot of thought, just throwing on what felt good. As a fashion blogger, sometimes I get so carried away in my outfit choices that I forget to wear what I feel good in. Shorts, a baggy sweater, a cotton dress, flip flops, a jean jacket, my favourite hat, a soft grey tee. No frills, no layers, no glitz or glamour. Sometimes less really is more!

  1. Aw, the mountains are magnificent.. What a beautiful drive that would be. I agree, less is more. I always remind myself that when I am lusting over the bag or shoes. Have a great day!

  2. Nothing like a little getaway weekend! I love the flower ring and your nails. Lovely shots!

  3. Oh I love Whistler and your nails :)

  4. Beautiful photos! I miss Whistler. I haven't been there in a long time. My weekend getaway is crossing the border, yeah for the increase in shopping limit. More excuses to go to the States. :D

  5. So nice to see your pics from Whistler, Chelle! Looks like you had great weather that weekend :)

  6. I was in Whistler once. My family and I took a trip out to the west coast and it was absolutely amazing. The mountains are such a great place for relaxing. And you're right - sometimes you just gotta throw on what's comfortable!

Let me know your thoughts!
