casual chic

I can't believe that it's already September. It is by far my favourite month of the year, for a few key reasons: One, I love the chill of the autumn season. Two, it marks the start of New York Fashion Week and all the stylish inspiration I could ever need. And three, it's my birthday on the 27th! All of these reasons combined could only mean one thing: shopping. I've already been flipping through the September issues and making note of my favourite trends for Fall and what is going on my ultimate wishlist. Lately I've been all about pants. Since I've been wanting light-wash jeans for ages, I was so happy to stumble upon these at American Eagle the other day. Worn with a neutral blazer and simple pumps, it's becoming one of my favourite transition pieces into the new season.

I hope you all had a fabulous Labour Day long weekend... And I'd love to know what your favourite trend for Fall is going to be. Happy Tuesday!

  1. Great casual look! Your hair also looks fab.

  2. Ah I love the look! Distressed light wash jeans are some of my favourites. You look great!

  3. Love how modern you make these light wash jeans look! My key trends this season I think will be leather anything and stylish street-style like dressed up sweats.

  4. September is always such a nice time of year, even though I'm not ready to say goodbye to summer.

This is a perfect early fall outfit. I love the way you styled the light denim to make it work so well for this time of year.
